In Recognition of Extraordinary Service and Leadership,
The Carolina Councils of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials
Presents this Resolution in Honor of Connie Howard
Whereas, Connie Howard retired from the Housing Authority of Fort Mill in Fort Mill, South Carolina on December 31, 2024, after 24 years of service to the agency; and
Whereas, during her years of service to the Housing Authority of Fort Mill was very involved and active with the Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials (CCHRCO); and
Whereas, during her extensive tenure with CCHRCO, Connie was very active with the Annual Conference, RAD committees and also served in many leadership positions to include as First Vice President, President Elect, President, and as part of the Board of Directors; and
Whereas, throughout her career, Connie earned the utmost respect of leading policymakers, housing industry partners, social service contributors and fellow CCHRCO members; and
Whereas, Connie's commitment to public service extends beyond the public housing industry as is evident through her dedication to support and serve with CCHRCO to ensure affordable housing opportunities are provided to those most in need; and
Whereas, Connie's contributions as a thoughtful, hard-working, kind, detail-oriented, dedicated, and generous person are unparalleled and will be greatly missed by the CCHRCO Governing Board and organization members.
Therefore, be it resolved, that the Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials expresses its deepest and sincere appreciation for the outstanding contributions made by Connie Howard during her many years of service and hereby names her a Lifetime Member of the Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials and extends its best wishes as she enjoys her retirement; and
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be entered permanently into the minutes of the Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials.
