About CCHRCO

Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Codes Officials (CCHRCO), also known as “Carolinas Council”, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit membership association serving Housing and Community Development Agencies in North and South Carolina. Formed in 1940, Carolinas Council has a long history of professional service to the affordable housing industry.

Carolina Council strives to improve professionalism and sound management practice in the public administration of Housing, Community Development, Codes and Housing rehabilitation programs. CCHRCO’s membership represents over 10,000 units of affordable housing throughout the Carolina’s. As an organization representing affordable housing, CCHRCO addresses housing issues at the national, state and local level.
