Job - Executive Director New Bern, NC

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: The New Bern (NC) Housing Authority Seeks a capable director possessing skills to lead the agency in its operations, development of affordable housing, use of LIHTC, demolition/disposition and successfully accomplish the goals of strategic planning.  The position requires skills and experience with the above functions, five plus years of experience at top levels of housing; the supervision of staff, knowledge of HUD programs and communicating with residents of various socioeconomic backgrounds.  Bachelor's degree required, Masters, preferred.  Possess PHM or obtain in one year.  LIHTC certified, preferred, Equal opportunity employment.  Submit cover letter and resume to : Leo Dauwer, Search Consultant, 20 Shady Land, Needham, MA 02492 or email to :  dowerassiciates@comcast.net  No faxes pleas.  Position open until filled.
